Cash trips: how commission works
You receive cash directly from the passenger. Those earnings are already with you and are not transferred again by the partner. The app still charges commission under its terms.
The cash is already with you
When the passenger pays cash, the driver receives it directly. It should not increase the partner transfer a second time. The platform can still charge commission for the trip, so passenger payment method and platform charges must be separated. Looking only at total trip revenue can make a correct deduction look like missing pay. Start with the source report showing the payment method.
Follow the worked example
The demonstration starts with 324 zł from Uber and 210.50 zł from Bolt. It subtracts 38.20 zł cash-trip commission, 7.14 zł daily service fee and an illustrative 76.86 zł tax and contribution amount, leaving 412.30 zł. Of that, 90% or 371.07 zł is available, with a 41.23 zł reserve. These figures illustrate the statement, not your tax rate or guaranteed income.
When a negative balance can arise
A negative balance can arise when commissions and other amounts due exceed funds available for transfer. This does not necessarily mean the passenger failed to pay: cash may already have been received. First compare the date, app and report lines. Settle the agreed difference through the appropriate method. BLIK is part of the planned product, but the demonstration accepts no codes and makes no payments.
How to report a discrepancy
Identify the period, app, source-report amount and statement amount. Briefly explain what needs checking. Never send app or bank passwords. Keep the case reference and response. Human review should be available, and any correction should leave a clear record in the history. Submitting a query does not itself alter the settlement; the outcome must be communicated separately.
